Engaging Every Generation in Faith
At Mount Tabor, our youth are an active and vital part of the church today. Guided by the love of Christ, our Youth Ministry is dedicated to helping students grow in faith, build lasting friendships, and discover the joy of serving others. Through a balance of devotion, fellowship, service, and fun, our youth are encouraged to live out their faith with confidence and purpose. We invite all students in grades 5 and above to be part of a community that supports, challenges, and celebrates them as they follow Jesus together.

Meets Monthly
Our youth group, Christians in Action (CIA), welcomes students in grades 5 and above to grow in their faith, build lasting friendships, and serve the world around them—all while having a great time together.
Sunday School
Each Sunday at 9:15 AM
Each Sunday we offer Sunday School classes for all ages. We have classes starting with nursery going all the way through adult.

Confirmation Classes
Grades 7 & 8
2nd and 4th Sunday of each month from 4:15pm to 5:30pm
Confirmation is a significant milestone in the life of our youth, representing much more than just a class or program. It is a sacred season of growth, discovery, and commitment where young people are invited to take deeper steps into their faith journey. During this time, they explore the core beliefs of the Christian faith and learn the distinct teachings of Lutheran theology in a way that connects both head and heart.
Over the course of the program, students engage in meaningful learning, open discussion, and thoughtful reflection. They wrestle with big questions about God, faith, and life, while also discovering how their faith can guide them in daily choices and relationships. Alongside peers and mentors, they are given the space to grow spiritually, ask honest questions, and begin to see themselves as full participants in the life of the church.
Ultimately, Confirmation prepares them for a joyful and public moment of affirming their baptism. It marks the time when they take ownership of their faith as young adults, stepping into greater responsibility and leadership within the church, and embracing their place in the ongoing story of God’s people.
