Our commitment to serving the community and sharing God’s love extends beyond our church walls. Through a variety of outreach programs and missions, we strive to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our neighbors, both near and far.

Blessings in a Backpack

Each week during the school year, our team prepares and delivers bags of food to students in need at Little Mountain Elementary School, ensuring they have nourishment over the weekend and feel cared for and supported.

Busy Hands Ministry

This dedicated group stays active sewing bibs, neck pillows, lap quilts for nursing homes, children’s lap quilts for the Little Mountain Rescue Squad, and surgical hats for Richland Memorial Children’s Hospital.

Palmetto Gardens

We organize annual visits to this local long-term care facility, donating essential items, sharing Christmas carols, and hosting fun summer ice cream parties to connect with residents.

Community Partnerships & Events

We Care

At Thanksgiving and Christmas, we partner with WeCare to provide grocery gift cards for local families to enjoy a special holiday meal. We also work with them to provide essential items like clothing and toys for families during the Christmas season and support their food pantry throughout the year. www.chapinwecare.org/

Vacation Bible School

Held each summer, this is a community-wide event for all to grow their faith through scripture, games, crafts, and a delicious meal each evening. It’s a great week of fellowship for everyone involved.

Social Ministry Committee

Our social ministry committee supports our local high school by providing team meals for football players and collecting water and sports drinks for the marching band. They also host a fun Trunk-or-Treat and Halloween Carnival for the church and community.

Youth and Women’s Groups in Action

Youth Group – Christians in Action (CIA)

This past year, our youth collected supplies and monetary donations for neighbors in North Carolina impacted by Hurricane Helene. They also gathered school supplies for local schools and helped host blood drives to support the community’s health needs.

Lutheran Church Woman (LCW)

The LCW has supported the Neighbors Together Community in the Lowcountry by collecting backpacks and essential supplies. They also purchased items for Christmas stockings for children in North Carolina affected by Hurricane Helene and contributed funds for clean water in Africa.
